 Ed Sunspot (Robert Beatty) – Best known for his iconic, surrealist album artwork and contributions to contemporary visual culture, Robert Beatty steps into his sonic alter ego, Ed Sunspot. A sound artist and experimental musician, his work explores the tactile and ephemeral nature of auditory experience. Utilizing analog synthesis, found and recorded sound, and improvisational structures, he evokes a hypnotic interplay between organic and artificial sonic environments, challenging the listener’s perception of space and time. His visual work has graced covers for artists such as Tame Impala, The Flaming Lips, and Oneohtrix Point Never, while his soundscapes offer a similarly immersive, dreamlike
