Join us during our Sip & Tour on Friday, April 18 at 6pm! Our Museum Manager will lead you on a guided tour through our current exhibition while you enjoy a delicious cocktail inspired by the artwork on display.

This month’s cocktail is inspired by ‘Last Night, 2023’ by artist Stacey Gillian Abe. The cocktail utilizes butterfly pea flower infused gin to achieve the rich blue tones used in this painting. Playing with color and hue – indigo and other various pigments were traditionally derived from crops that depended on enslaved labor. Garnished with a flower as a nod to the symbolism of the floral garment, the indigo hue, and the artist’s self-portrait employed in this work. The cocktail is shaken up, in a medium coupe garnished with dried butterfly pea flower.

Tickets are $20 and include the guided tour and an art inspired cocktail. (Sip & Tours have a maximum capacity be sure to buy your ticket early. Attendees must be 21+)
